On another note, many stores reported that the Sidewalk Sale day on May 22 went well for them. We have therefore scheduled another sidewalk sale day for Saturday, July 10, 2010. The more stores that participate the better. Please feel free to participate. We have forbearance from Sanitation Enforcement allowing us to put merchandise in the street for the day. It is a good opportunity to sell reduced merchandise and to get more shoppers inside your store. This time we will have music and entertainment on Southern Boulevard to keep families on the Boulevard just a little longer. We anticipate a great day and plan to have additional Sidewalk Sale days throughout the summer.

In September we will hold the annual board meeting where we will report to the community the efforts and successes of the BID. In this newsletter we give you further information and invite all business and property owners in the district to attend. As always I can be reached at 718-974-2990.
